4th Trimester Project
The 4th Trimester Project is based in the University of North Carolina Center
for Maternal and Infant Health. They are a general resource for 4th trimester
information, whose partners range from a variety of academic, clinical and
policy level sources. The 4th Trimester Project brings together new moms,
birth workers, health care providers, researchers, public health professionals,
community leaders, and other stakeholders across the US to work together
and address postpartum issues and needs.
Kelly Mom
For transgender parents and chest/breastfeeding. Transgender men and women,
and non-binary and genderqueer individuals, are physiologically capable of
breast or chestfeeding, even if they have had previous chest surgery or have
never given birth.
La Leche League International
Provides an extensive database of information on breastfeeding. It also has
links to information on the legal rights of breastfeeding and comes in a
variety of languages.
