Champion Training Academy


Offers a summer day camp program where children learn the importance of being active and will experience a unique social setting where they learn to play and get along with others. Includes interactive games, arts and crafts, basic tumbling introduction, inside and outside activities.

Comfort Zone Camp


Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit 501(c)3 bereavement organization that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or significant person. Programs are free of charge and include trust-building activities and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings.

Echo Mountain Stables


Camps are offered throughout the summer, exploring different types of horse riding, games on horseback, haltering and stable management. On hot days, campers swim in the pool.

Kidematics Summer Camp


Eight summer camp sessions, each lasting a week. Kids are taught to make healthy lifestyle choices and learn about positive social interactions through games and physical activities. There are options for full or half days.


Kidz Rock Summer Camp


Available from mid-June to mid-August for children entering grades 1-6. Each week the children will visit the local public pool 1-2 times and go on at least 1 destination field trip.

An outdoor education focused on nature awareness, stewardship and outdoor leadership. They operate afterschool and summer programs for all local students that enhance the academic experience by connecting skills to practical applications.

The Shack Neighborhood House


Offered from the first to last day of summer for children grades K-12. Open Mon-Fri, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Offers a variety of activities are included such as swimming, crafts, indoor play, and sports. Cost is income-based; 10% non-refundable deposit required to secure the child’s spot.

For grades K-8; includes skill development activities, futsal play, small-sided games, team building activities, leadership education, and optional outdoor pool time. Campers in grades 6-8 will participate in activities and exercises to improve flexibility, mobility, agility, speed, strength, power, and balance.

Offers many of the same PreK style activities such as center based play, early literacy, social emotional skills, school readiness skills, and outdoor play. Children must be currently enrolled in Mineral County PreK/Head Start in order to attend.
