Families Strong

A nationwide resource and support group developed to support families impacted by substance use disorder. The program focuses on helping family members develop self-care, build social supports, and learn effective motivational strategies for interacting with a loved one who is struggling with a substance use disorder.

Offers support for those who have an alcohol problem through group meetings.

A harm-reducing program with a variety of services for those who use drugs intravenously. Services include: syringe access kits, safe syringe disposal, naloxone prescriptions, HIV and hepatitis C testing, wound care, addiction treatment referrals, mental health counseling, social service referrals, and more.

A WVU student organization that supports those in and/or seeking recovery. This organization participates in a number of activities to enhance and positively impact the recovery process such as, mediation, support groups, yoga classes, and more. Open to all kinds of recovery such as eating disorders, alcohol, opioid use disorder, stimulant use disorder, and anything that involves a healthier life style.
