This site allows users to search for child and eldercare resources within their county. Please follow the directions on how to navigate the site.

Directions to use Local Map of Providers

To find dependent care click the link below to get started and follow the steps provided:

1. Narrow down your search by choosing your County, City, or Zip Code.
2. Choose your geographic specifier: (e.g., “Provider County” or “Provider City”).  Click on the down arrow beside the specifier. A dropdown list will appear. Uncheck “All.” Then, scroll down to find your county or city. For the zip code specifier, uncheck “All.” Then, click inside the box and type out your zip code. Finally, check your zip code when it appears.
3. Choose additional specifiers: (e.g., “Provider Type,” “Quality Tier,” “Age Group Served”) Click on the down arrow beside the specifier. A dropdown list will appear. Uncheck “All.” Then, scroll down to check your selection(s).
4. Click the blue dots on the map: Click one blue dot at a time to view each dependent care facility.  

* Different colored dots represent different kinds of care facilities:

DarkBlue = Child Care Center 
Light Blue = Family Child Care Facility 
Orange = Head Start 
Light Orange = Head Start/ Child Care Center 
Dark Green = In Home Child Care 
Lime Green = Informal Child Care Facility 
Brown = Informal Child Care/ non-subsidized 
Yellow = Registered Family Child Care 
Teal = Registered Family Child Care/ Subsidized 
Light Teal = Relative Family Child Care 
Dark Pink = Relative Family Child Care/ Non- Subsidized 
Light Pink = Unlicensed School Age Child Care
